One Day Introduction to Intelligent Horsemanship

by Bridget Hughes and Liz Pitman

Saturday, 24th March 2012
Manuden, Essex

Bridget Hughes and Liz Pitman will be hosting their first one day introduction to IH course on Saturday, 24th March at Manuden in Essex (just outside Bishops Stortford). The course will cover some basic IH concepts and exercises to give you some tools to work with on your own. They won't be covering join up, but instead will focus on communication, concentration and good leading and leadership.

After a short theory session in the morning, most of the day will be spent doing practical work, through demonstrations by Bridget, human to human work and hands on work with the horses.

Because it's the first course, there will be a special £10 discount to all participants, plus a further £10 off for IH members. The usual price will be £105 including tea and coffee, but for this course only it will be £85 for IH members and £95 for non-members. Given what we'll pack in, it's a bargain!

Places are strictly limited and a £50 deposit is required to secure a place. Call Liz on 0772 9629022

If you are interested but cannot make this date, either watch out for other dates in the future, or why not find a venue and date to suit you? This course can be held anywhere in East Anglia provided you have the right facilities and horses. Contact Liz if you want to know more

Saturday 10th March 2012 10.30am - 12.30pm
at
Newlands Equestrian, Newlands Lane, Epworth
Nth Lincs DN9 1JA

What is Horse Agility?
Horse agility comprises a variety of obstacles for the horse to complete, at the higher levels this is against the clock with the horse running free! This is a great activity for building trust and understanding between you and your horse.
Horse Agility is a fast exciting way to have fun with your horse without having to ride him. It's great for horses that are unable to be ridden for behavioural or physical reasons, ponies that are too small or too young for the owner to ride or for people who can't or don't want to ride. It gives everyone the chance to compete without having to ride or spend hours preparing their horse for showing classes.
And it's great fun!

Admission £5 per person (under 16s free)
Tea/coffee/fruit tea included
